  16. I think everyone should be allowed equal freedom of speech.  Clearly,
  17. if gay activists wanted to demonstrate OUTSIDE the church, they have as
  18. much right as the pro-life forces do to demonstrate OUTSIDE an abortion
  19. clinic.  Once they start entering the premises of the church or clinic,
  20. they should be expected to follow the rules of the property owners.
  21. The pro-life people shouldn't enter a clinic to disrupt an abortion,
  22. and the gay rights folks shouldn't enter the cathedral and disrupt the
  23. church services.  The whole point of my argument is that you seemed to
  24. be supporting the right of Howard Stern to have free speech, but not
  25. the pro-life crowd.  You seemed to state that it was wrong for the
  26. pro-lifers to vociferously "harass" the women going to the clinic, yet
  27. you approve of Howard Stern harassing people in his audience.  It seems
  28. that one must be consistent, and allow everyone full freedom of speech,
  29. rather than get bogged down in technicalities and cases where one group
  30. or another deems speech to be inappropriaate.  Just tell me how you
  31. feel about the pro-life groups outside the abortion clinics.  Clearly
  32. you must be consistent with your belief that it would be okay for a
  33. putative group to protest outside a cathedral...  Besides, just as
  34. people can turn off Howard Stern, they can go home, avoid the aabortion
  35. clinic, and have the baby, or even come back aanother day to have the
  36. abortion.  Further, in most places there are mutliple plaaces one could
  37. go.  Finally, if a woman was desperate for an abortion and really
  38. believed it was right, the pro-life people shouldn't be able to chnge
  39. her mind, and she could then just walk right through...
