- What about Japan? Their rise to international economic dominance was due
- mainly to Government involvement to restrict the money supply, to give large
- subsidies to favoured companies, to place hefty tariffs on imports. Is it
- just a coincidence that since the Japanese were forced to relax their economic
- policy that they have slid into recession?
