- Hi,
-
- I have the foll. query :
-
-
- We have 2 NW 3.11 servers with the foll. stats...
-
-
- Server A Server B
-
- Uptime 31 days 19 days
- NIC NE2000 NE2000
- Pkts. sent 11,384,917 11,307,471
- Pkts. rcvd. 11,210,981 11,249,449
- ChecksumErrors 73 168
- TotalCollisionCount 10,179 12,451
- UnsupportedFramePkt.Cnt.502,002 302,498
- EnqueuedSendsCount 159,077 (!!!) 107,689 (!!!)
-
-
- All other stats. are either 0 or not supported.
-
- Now, what are my worries here ? Is the EnqueuedSendsCount number
- alarming (Please consider the UPTIME of each server) ? We are running
- IPX/SPX as well as TCP/IP (most of it is TCP though)
- but should this matter ? (I guess it does)
-
- Do I need to re-boot the server (i.e bring it down) so that the buffers
- are cleared or is ther no need for alarm at all ???
-
- Please advice.
-
- Thanx in advance.
- Ajay.
