  15. Try Koestler's The age of longing, written in 1951, placed in France just
  16. so that he could bring together Young Americans, Old Americans, Youngish
  17. fought-in-Spain French communist, Russian writer just defecting, etc. The
  18. book is excellent read, even (escpecially) now.

  20. Montreal hosting a yearly film festival (not too commercial) there are many
  21. films we saw in the last few years which I would highly suggest to see if I
  22. could tell where. Like:
  23. - a Georgian film based on a Maupassant story transposed into Georgia, 1917
  24. - Krapatchuk, a French-Russian coproduction, hilarious comedy
  25. - Chytilova last movies (any of them)
