- Yes George, you put your finger on it: hate is four letter word, but
- when it comes to nations and cultures where hate is so much a part of
- national or cultural or clan habit where membership is often defined by
- ones ability to practice the cultural norms how does one break the cycle?

- There are examples of individuals breaking the cycle of hate. Many in
- eastern Europe have done so over the past 50 years re. the USSR. But
- have nations, ethnic groups, or clans been equally successfull? History
- is full of the failures of such attempts.
