-
- Something else to keep in mind is that the NSFnet Acceptable Use
- Policy has been radically changed in the recent past, and the
- traditional "commercial use" restrictions have been significantly
- relaxed. With the implementation of commercial IP vendors like
- Alternet and ANS and the CIX/NSFnet gateways in the regionals,
- the Internet already has a substantial commercial component.
-
- I certainly would appreciate Internet access to IBMlink; getting
- external access from a dialup here is a real hassle. I'd even be
- willing to consider a specially modified tn3270 to support file
- transfer. It's no worse than we have now (PMFTERM, etc), and it
- certainly would be more convenient.
