  30. Yes, but it's worse than that.  For those of us who believe in writing
  31. transportable code, how can we use any HLASM features when so few
  32. sites have it?  Unless it shows up on HESC, we won't get it.  In fact,
  33. I don't know of any shops with plans to get it.  Hence, the following
  34. survey.  (Note that the reply-to is set to me.  If you're not on Bitnet,
  35. you can email the survey to my Internet address LDW@MVSA.USC.EDU
  36. instead.  If you reply to other parts of this message than the survey,
  37. please reply to the list.)  I'll attempt to summarize the results of
  38. this in a couple of weeks.
