  11. Apropos of this discussion, I just got an IBM document on the subject!
  12. It's one of the ITSC "red books", GG24-3920, entitled "ES/9000 Multi-
  13. Image Processing Volume 1: Presentation and Solutions Guidelines".
  14. (There's also a volume 2 containing full-size versions of all the
  15. foils, but they're also in this volume.)  I've only glanced at it
  16. but it seems to cover the subject pretty thoroughly.
