  18. Little hope; most of these require 8-bit data paths and/or full duplex;
  19. two widespread conventions IBM has adamantly resisted.  I hope the
  20. behaviour of their stock price teaches them the error of their ways.

  22. Kermit, however, works great; it was invented to circumvent IBM's
  23. stubbornness, among other reasons.
