  15. As a new CUMREC-l subscriber browsing through the list's archives,
  16. a discussion on Degree Audit Software caught my eye because we have
  17. just begun developing a computerized degree audit module for our
  18. student information system.  We are an HP site using PowerHouse as our
  19. developing language.

  21. Among other things, the discussion mentioned that: "a school which is
  22. considering developing its own degree audit take a close look at what
  23. is available from someone else before they commit those resources at
  24. home to a task that is never ending".  Also it was mentioned that DARS
  25. is flexible enough to process the most complex requirements found in
  26. the US or Canada.

  28. That brings me to my question. Would it be at all possible to get
  29. information on DARS?  Issues that I have at this point are:

  31.     -    Is a demo available?
  32.     -    What are the options and how much does each cost?
  33.     -    Could we get your system specifications?
