- I'm more than willing to consider that I simply missed the point of
- *The Miracle*, but the video put me to sleep fast and hard. I really
- tried to pay attention, too, especially because I am inveterately
- fascinated by most things Irish and Celtophilic, but my impression of this
- film is that it lacks energy, wit, and grace. I never did finish watching
- it.

- By the way, Neil Jordan is a fairly acclaimed novelist to boot. Has anyone
- read his stuff? I have *Night in Tunisia* checked out from the library, but
- have yet to read any of his novels . . .
