  14. Dear Christia Partners,

  16. I must make  a confession. I have  a fellow co-worker who just  took the class
  17. on how to  send e-mail. Although I  am Christian, she is  a beautifully saved,
  18. Spirit-filled,  Catholic. Because  of how  some  of the  discussions (?)  have
  19. not been very kind or loving, I was hesitant for her to subscribe to Christia.
  20. I told the Lord, that since she is  so gentle and loving, could He help direct
  21. me, because I felt  she would be very offended. I kept  praying and asking the
  22. Lord to  help me.  The other day,  someone received a  post from  the Catholic
  23. list. I  helped her subscribe  yesterday. She shared with  me a couple  of the
  24. posts,  which were  both so  beautiful, loving,  caring, and  encouraging. She
  25. was so happy. I  knew this is what I wanted her to  experience. The same thing
  26. that I had experienced when I first joined Christia.

  28. However, I glanced at  a couple of posts yesterday and  found insults and name
  29. calling. What does  this kind of discussion profit, if  it hurts, insults, and
  30. degrades a person? I  am praying now whether to continue on  this list or find
  31. people in the body of Christ who represent  the Jesus I have grown to love and
  32. know. I Cor.  13:4 (NIV) Love is patient,  love is kind. It does  not envy, it
  33. does not boast, it is not proud. 5) It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it
  34. is not easily angered, it keeps no  record of wrongs. 6) Love does not delight
  35. in evil  but rejoices with  the truth. 7)  It always protects,  always trusts,
  36. always hopes, always preserve.

  38. One thing I do know we as believers in Jesus Christ, we have one Lord. The Lord
  39. said that we would know His disciples by our love that we have for one another.
  40. WHERE IS THE LOVE NOW ON CHRISTIA? Yes  there are many who are loving, but
  41. there are a few who think their views  are so important, no matter how or what
  42. they say -  their point is going to  get across no matter who  they hurt while
  43. trying. I  was so embarrassed at  some of what  I read, I deleted  some things
  44. without reading them. Let's get back  to love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,
  45. goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control;  THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT.
  46. Let your  light shine  people. Whatever  we do, it  must be  done as  unto the
  47. Lord. We are  to speak as oracles of  God. When you do write  your posts think
  48. about who you represent; think about that love; think about the fruit of the
  49. Holy Spirit.  What kind of fruit are you bearing?
