- are forbidden to marry non-Catholics'; rather it is 'Catholics must
- abide by the marriage laws of the Church.'

- I think the booklet is either a bit old or just plain wrong,
- since as you pointed out the Church doesn't outright forbid mixed
- marriages, though it certainly does discourage them.
