- No. Baptism may be conferred only once. Even if one were to pour water over a
- previously baptized person and pronounce the proper sacramental formula, this
- would not be a sacrament. What you are describing is commonly known as
- "supplying the ceremonies." That is, all the various rites normally performed
- during baptism are carried out, except for the baptism itself. This would
- include profession of faith and baptismal promises by the parents and
- godparents, anointing with the
- oil of catechumens and chrism, lighting of the baptismal candle, etc.
