- Thanks for the support for this topic of discussion. Too many people
- would rather ignore abuse and allow it to continue than subject themselves
- to the discomfort of facing unpleasant realities and taking actions that
- may lead to unpleasant confrontations.

- How old is your "special guy"? Are you happy with the quality of care at
- the group home? Do you know or have reason to believe he's been abused at
- any time? Have you ever tried to explain to him that some people are "not
- OK," or to teach him to protect himself?
