- She could be, but most likely she is singing in Arabic. As for CDs, if
- you go into Tower, you will see hundreds of them, all with Arabic
- titles, maybe a few with French. The CDs are made in Beirut. I don't
- know how you would tell what to get. I have two CDs and one cassette.
- On CD I don't know the title of, but it is the one I like the least of
- the three.
-
- The cassette is called Fat Al Miyad, which according to the people at
- the mid-eastern joint was the tape I heard that had that Jimi effect.
- (It didn't when I got home with it, but I still think it is the best one
- I have of hers. As far as I can tell, it is the same recording. But
- most her recordings are of concerts, and the accompaning ensemble plays
- for a while, then when she steps to the mic, you hear lots of applause.
- There also are some a cappelo solos )
-
- Other than that, there is Lumiere SDur Le Desert, which I have on CD,
- and it is good.
