- Perhaps not. There are certainly knee-jerk liberals, just as there are
- knee-jerk conservatives. Neither are notable for their in-depth grasp
- of the social issues they are condemning/defending. But, to say that
- those who fought Helms' censorship of "Piss Christ" would not fight him
- in the case of a "Piss Malcolm", is to dismiss the arts community out of
- hand as a collection of nothing more than PC knee-jerks. If that's what
- you believe, ok, fine, but I do not agree. If anything, I've found that
- group of people to be among the most insiteful wrt. social issues.

- In any event, we are lucky to have the ACLU, which has never show anything
- close to "political correctness". They'll defend even the most heinous
- expression of free speech. I'm glad they do.
