- Actually, I have their first album. I kind of like it. It's sort of like The
- Doors meet Black Sabbath. I haven't heard the latest album yet. Glenn Danzig
- used to be a member of the band "The Misfits." Metallica covered a couple of
- their songs on the _Garage Days Re-Revisited_ EP.
-
- As to their religious (or anti-religious) affiliations, People believe what they
- want to believe. As long as they don't hurt anyone or beg me for money, I
- couldn't give half a rat's fart (well, maybe 2/5ths). I'm an athiest which I
- suppose you could take to mean that I'm "against god."

-
- Toto is a dog, of course. Drummer, I'm surprised at you! How can you say
- they're the greatest band if Vinnie wasn't a member?
-
- Rosemary will tell you the truth of course. Everyone knows that the Jackson
- Five is the best band ever. For the humour impaired -> 8)

-
- ARRGGHH! I'm leaving Boston for my new home in North Carolina on January 10th!
- It seems I'm forever missing catching other members of this group! I've
- *almost* seen Michael and the Urbs 3 times now. 8(

- Will you be here for music related business or other?

- Other Stuff:
-
- I picked up a couple of great bootlegs last week.
-
- Roger Waters: In The Pink
- This is from the 1985 tour. It's Roger doing all old Pink Floyd tunes. The
- re-workings his band gives of the old songs are excellent. My favorite cut is
- the 10 minute version of "Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun." Sound
- Quality is about 8 out of 10, except on "Welcome to the Machine" where the
- highs fade in and out.
- TRACKS:
- Welcome to the Machine
- Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun
- Money
- Wish You Were Here
- Nobody's Home
- Have a Cigar
- Another Brick in the Wall Pt 1
- The Happiest Days of Our Lives
- Another Brick in the Wall Pt 2
- Brain Damage
- Eclipse
-
- Marillion: Acoustic Concert, Luxor Cologne, June 1, 1991
- This is worth buying just to hear Hogarth sing "Sugar Mice." The back of the
- disk mentions a BONUS TRACK, which is "Cover My Eyes" performed with drums and
- electric guitar (as opposed to the other tracks which have no drums and
- acoustic guitar). The funny thing is that after this they threw in Fish era
- Marillion doing "Assassing" and "Script For a Jester's Tear".
- Sound Quality: 6 out of 10 (4 out of 10 for the Fish tracks)
-
- TRACKS:
- Holloway Girl
- Sugar Mice
- After Me
- The Party
- Easter
- Waiting to Happen
- The King of Sunset Town
- Substitute (The Who song)
- Cover My Eyes (electric)
- Assassing (w/Fish)
- Script For a Jester's Tear (w/Fish)
