- Montreux, which was Anger, Marshall, and Anger's wife, Barbara Higbie, did some
- pretty good things while they were together, especially the first (and live)
- album. Anger is now with Turtle Island String Quartet, Marshall with Modern
- Mandolin Quartet, Higbie is on her own. TISQ has gotten better with each new
- album, IMHO; MMQ is an acquired taste. Rice has a couple of good tunes on
- each of his Unit albums, but has more or less returned to bluegrass. Garcia
- and Grisman together don't grab me as much for some reason. =Dawg '90= is a
- good album, very much like the first ones, if you haven't grabbed it yet.
