  16. Well, I called up CalTrain/AmTrak police and they were most helpful and
  17. seemed geniunely concerned, as opposed to SFPD which I originally reported
  18. it to.

  20. The car which the battery was stolen was an '82 beat up car with 160K miles
  21. on it. I guess it was old enough that they didn't want to take the whole
  22. car, just the battery.

  24. If you haven't been down to the Bayshore Station lately, they put in 
  25. a new parking lot and a bunch of lights. It looks nice and is supposed
  26. to deter crime, but alas my battery was stolen in broad daylight.

  28. I took the 8:15am train out of Bayshore and got back at 5:15pm, it was still
  29. barely light.

  31. It's too far to bike in to the station, and I can't afford to get a motorcycle
  32. or a moped right now, even though I would love a motorcycle. =:)

  34. Any other suggestions anyone? Anybody else ride from the Bayshore station?
