- For my 30th birthday, I rented the movie "30 Is a Dangerous Age, Cynthia."
- It's a Dudley Moore movie from the 60's which parodies this whole "I've got
- to get my act together by the time I turn 30" notion. A lot of the
- atmosphere is pretty dated (and datedly sexist--it's the "swinging 60's",
- with lots of pretty "birds" in miniskirts and all that kind of thing), but
- it's still funny. If you like dated British humor (especially if you liked
- "Bedazzled") and are worrying about an arbitrary birthday, I'd recommend it
- as a good way to help regain some perspective.
-
- Then again, I could be wrong.
