- They've even perverted *that*. To the ad world, the "singles" life means having
- a partner. SO. You are never by ourself - the sole goal is to attract a
- member of the opposite sex. The idea of being totally alone, by yourself, and
- not *wanting* a partner is abhorant to them, because that would mean that you
- don't *want* anything. If you have no wants and no needs, they can't sell
- you anything. Therefore, not having an SO and liking it is "Not in the order
- of things" according to the ad folks.
