- This is directed to the protagonists to clear thinking who constantly
- post to the net their hate-filled answers to clear minded individuals who
- think rationally. I post infrequently because pissing in the wind is not
- a pleasant experience - when you post you know the piss will blow back from
- two directions. When I have posted it is to refute inconsistencies in
- terminology or out and out stretches of the truth. The analogy to this is
- calling pedophiles homosexuals or saying acid rain is not responsible for
- deforestation. What the thinking patterns are of people who think this way
- is to find some shred of evidence that might point towards their argument.
- What the U.S. has done consistently (for capitalistic reasons), is to shun
- any report that would impinge on free raining capitalism, be it here or
- abroad. This has been true since Kit Carson burned down the peach trees of
- the Navaho all the way to U.S. backed overthroughing of socialistic leaning
- countries.
-
- I know personally of environmental damage to areas of the world through
- poor management by U.S. Corporations. There is a far cry from reading the pa-
- per to get your statistics versus getting the real scoop by working for com-
- panies engaged in cleaning up the environment. Legally, most of the date about
- acid rain and pollution at superfund sites is kept from the public. What you
- do read in the paper or through "funded studies" have been diluted by government
- sources. The truth is either filtered from the right or filtered from the
- left. What you read about the Exxon Valdez spill initially was that it was no
- big deal. Or acid rain is minor. Even if acid rain has little effect what is
- left for society to do is to minimize any chance of acid rain by stopping any
- emissions by industrial sites emitting toxic substances. With a not watered
- down by the Bush administration Clean Air Act this could have been possible.
-
- Clayton Cramer and Phil Ronzone are two people like many of us on the
- net who enjoy a good argument - and that is to be commended. Clayton does it
- pretty much without the venom and the hatred that Phil Ronzone shows. Every
- time we continue with them on the net, I see it as a waste of time - but then
- again I knew that eventually the Bush Era would end also. Clayton and Phil
- are following a twelve year low in U.S. culture that had its roots in racism
- and conquest through discrimination and misrepresentation. It was easy to
- say Kit Carson was a hero because we relied on the press to tell us the truth.
- When you rely on comments that Phil and Clayton argue, you are left with here-
- say and innuendo. You see - the onus is on you to prove them wrong. Look to
- Socrates and examine truths.
-
- 1) There is acid rain - it does kill forests.
- 2) Pollution does exist and companies produce it.
- 3) DDT is still being produced in the U.S. and exported abroad - and it
- comes may come back in imported food.
- 4) There are superfund sites throughout our country - superfund means
- companies produced it and rely on us to pay for it.
- 5) Pedophiles are not homosexuals. Homosexuals and Heterosexuals both
- makeup the subpopulation of pedophiles - although it is probable that
- pedophiles are fixated in pre-adolescence and therefor androgenous.
- 6) Discrimination is a method of keeping people in "their place" and out
- of competition. It is often used to purify an area and rid one pop-
- ulation of what they consider undesirables - this is against the law.
- If the law is broken, it needs to be enforced.
- 7) If homosexuals are fired or not hired solely because of a preconcep-
- tion of activity or assumption of activity without regard to their
- capabilities, that is discrimination. The constitution protects
- people already from discrimination. What has happened though is that
- communities who want "purity" in their community enact legislation to
- disregard a constitutionally unamed discrimination. They are entitled
- to their law, and we are entitled and should boycott those cities and
- states whether they be Concord or Colorado (not to name names).
- 8) Eventually people that spout hatred will spout it to the wrong person
- or engage in slander or enough of an attack that will have them
- legally indefensible - karma.
- 9) You can depend on the mail and you can depend on any point in
- ba.politics and ca.politics to be picked apart by people who do not
- want to see the truth.
-
- I'm wrong on occasion and I admit it. When I find I do not understand
- something, I go to the sources to find the truth and learn. What I find with
- the points that Clayton and Phil try to make is that when they find something
- that they disagree with they find the literature citations to make their point
- valid. Their technique would find a great comrade where Lysenko alive today.
-
-
- I do not believe Gennifer Flowers.
- I do believe Anita Hill.
- C++ is a better superset of C, but sometimes I like FORTRAN 77.
