  13. A Checkgroups message was issued today for the ba hierarchy.  Some
  14. systems running early releases of the news software do not understand
  15. the checkgroups control message.  It is strongly suggested that these
  16. sites update to version at least 2.11B of the news software as soon as
  17. possible.  Those cites running C-News should use the May 2 version
  18. for best results with checkgroups.
