  15.     Here's a show worth seeing....

  18.         At One Step Beyond, Wednsday Jan 6th:

  22.     Winter Chapter
  23.     Tongue Tied

  26.         I don't know much about the middle two bands,
  27.     but I know that Chalk Circle appeared on part of the 
  28.     Lolapalooza tour, and are suppused to be great live.
  29.  
  30.         The opening band, Tongue Tied, are formed from
  31.     the ashes of one of the south bay's best bands EVER,
  32.     the late lamented Dot3. They're a very new band, and 
  33.     *very* much worth checking out; probably the best 
  34.     musicianship of any band on the south bay scene right now.
  35.     (They were also the core of that great 70's cover band,
  36.     Jailbait Babysitters).
  37.  
  38.     They're a three-piece, high-energy pop/grunge band,
  39.     with style elements of bands like Sugar, Soul Asylum,
  40.     Dinosaur Junior, and even bits of Nine Ince Nails.
