  21. A research program in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering
  22. at Princeton University has an immediate full time job opening for a
  23. Systems Analyst. University benefits include  TIAA/CREF retirement
  24. plan, 24 vacation days + holidays, credit union, and flexible working

  27. REQUIREMENTS
  28.  
  29. The minimum experience requirements for the position are a B.S. in
  30. Computer Science (or equivalent experience) and strong knowledge of
  31. the C programming language.  Solid experience with unix machines and
  32. networking skills including shell programming, makefiles, mail, ftp,
  33. etc. is required, as well as familiarity with state-of-the-art
  34. developments in high-speed workstations and networks. Attention to
  35. detail and general organizational skills are also important.

  37. RESPONSIBILITIES
  38.  
  39. The program maintains a network of unix workstations to support
  40. research in computational fluid dynamics.  Our current hardware
  41. includes an Auspex Fileserver, extensive SGI and Sun equipment and
  42. numerous display stations.
  43.  
  44. The person taking this position will be responsible for all day-to-day
  45. operations of these machines, planning and arranging equipment
  46. purchases and acquisition and installation of software. In addition,
  47. s/he will be responsible for maintaining a state-of-the-art graphics
  48. development environment, including the use of real-time and
  49. frame-by-frame video.
