- A research program in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering
- at Princeton University has an immediate full time job opening for a
- Systems Analyst. University benefits include TIAA/CREF retirement

- REQUIREMENTS
-
- The minimum experience requirements for the position are a B.S. in
- Computer Science (or equivalent experience) and strong knowledge of
- the C programming language. Solid experience with unix machines and
- networking skills including shell programming, makefiles, mail, ftp,
- etc. is required, as well as familiarity with state-of-the-art
- developments in high-speed workstations and networks. Attention to
- detail and general organizational skills are also important.

- RESPONSIBILITIES
-
- The program maintains a network of unix workstations to support
- research in computational fluid dynamics. Our current hardware
- includes an Auspex Fileserver, extensive SGI and Sun equipment and
- numerous display stations.

- The person taking this position will be responsible for all day-to-day
- operations of these machines, planning and arranging equipment
- purchases and acquisition and installation of software. In addition,
- s/he will be responsible for maintaining a state-of-the-art graphics
- development environment, including the use of real-time and
- frame-by-frame video.
