  13. You are cordially invited to our VEGETARIAN POTLUCKS! We call ourselves 
  14. The East Bay Vegetarians and we usually gather for potlucks on the first 
  15. Sunday of each month. Our mission is to provide a sense of community by 
  16. sharing food, company, and information with each other. We are an 
  17. informal organization consisting of 3 organizers and a mailing list of 
  18. about 70-80 vegetarians/vegans.

  20. The next potluck will be held on SUNDAY, JANUARY 3, 1993 at:

  22. Seventh-day Adventist Church
  23. 278 Grand Ave
  24. Oakland, CA

  26. We will gather at 6:30pm and eat at 7pm. We ask that you:
  27.  
  28. * Bring enough food to make about 4-8 portions.
  29. * Bring a complete list of ingredients for the food you've prepared 
  30. (some of us     are vegan)
  31. * Bring your own silverware, plates, cups, bowls, cups, serving spoons.
  32. * Please try to get to the potluck by environmentally conscious means 
  33. (eg.     bike, bus, bart, etc. Please let me know if you would like to 
  34. arrange a     carpool with us).

  36. (Our group is NOT affiliated with the church at which the potluck is 
  37. taking place, and at the last meeting our diverse group included Hindus, 
  38. pagans, agnostics, atheists and other spiritual/religious 
  39. orientations.).
