  17. When you can get hot and sour and wonton soup at any Chinese restaurant
  18. you know that the restaurants have a full menu for the benefit of the
  19. "round eyes" who think all Chinese food look alike. :-)

  21. The advice about you have to know what to order applies to any 
  22. Chinese restaurant. Find out the house specialties and ignore
  23. the rest of the menu. If the house specialties are bad, THEN
  24. you can say it is a bad Chinese restaurant.

  26. Saying a Cantonese restaurant is bad because they make lousy
  27. hot and sour soup is like saying an Italian restaurant is lousy
  28. because their sauerbraut was awful. Yet people here have said
  29. that they judge Cantonese restaurants by their hot and sour soup.
