  11.  My girlfriend and I are planning a cycle trip from DEVONPORT to Hobart in late FEB'93 - we have 2 MTB's . We haven't bought any racks an panniers yet as we are unsure as to whether to hire or buy. We won't be camping, we are going to at   least sleep comfortably at night, so we may only need 1 set of panniers each.   Can we hire this sort of gear in Tassie? Any recommendations as to where to go and what to avoid along the east coast??
