  11. A group of friends and myself took the liberty of discussing the 
  12. improbability of someone successfully writing (including Anne Rice 
  13. herself) a screenplay for Intervie with a Vampire.  There is simply too 
  14. much narration and imagery that could be lost in the telling.  Especially 
  15. in consideration of the Claudia character.  I cannot think of a single 
  16. child actress who could handle such a complex role.  Would the screenplay 
  17. merely alter the charater's original nature and keep her a "vampire 
  18. child" instead of maturing the character's mind (and thus bringing into 
  19. play a lot of child pornography cries from the Religious Right and etc.)?

  21. In any case...presuming that a somewhat successful screenplay is 
  22. accomplished..we have decided (amongst ourselves of course) that Julian 
  23. Sands and Daniel Day Lewis should play the main characters.  No one else.
