  21. How anyone can tell anything about an actor's personality from a talk
  22. show is beyond me. Maybe I'm being overly subtle about this stuff,
  23. but I just assume that the entertainment types who come on talk shows
  24. are always 'on' and 'in character.' The problem's compounded on a show
  25. like Letterman where the facetiousness content is off the chart.
