- Log into a Unix box which is connected to your amiga via UUCP.
-
- Type something like:
-
- uucp *.c machine!~user/sources/
-
- Now (optionally log out if you don't have a second modem) run uucico and
- watch the file transfer fail. uucp on the Unix side has created a bunch of
- requests which go something along the lines of
-
- /foo/bar/source1.c -> ~user/sources/
-
- it doesn't put source1.c at the end of the ~user/sources/ entry (it will
- stick a / on the end of the destination for you automaitically, however, so
- that if you said the destination was ~user/, the actual request would be to
- ~user//).
-
- Would one of the people currently working on uucico (Steve?) like to fix
- the Amiga's uucico so that it can properly handle these lines?
-
- Thanks,
