  12.     I just bought a Supra 14.4 modem to replace my 9600 Cardinal
  13. V42.bis modem. But now I am having problems connecting. Well sort of....

  15. I want to connect to my parent node at 14,4 BPS but when I connect I get
  16. garbage! Now if I have MNP and ERROR CORRECTION on I can connect at 14.4
  17. but the rates as you know are worse then 2400 baud modems.

  19. I can also connect at 9600 without a problem but I want to take the full
  20. advantage of this modem! Does anyone have any ideas or fixes or anything
  21. else of that sort.
