- Back when Matt first introduced BMS, and indicated that it
- would be needed to get UUCP sources in the future, I installed it and
- registered stile with overload. I never announced that stile was
- running BMS, or that people should register. Many people, seeing that
- stile was registered with overload, registered with stile. This was
- pointless and mildly annoying. Perhaps more than mildly. I
- de∩nstalled BMS a couple of months ago, and mail to bms_in is directed
- to >null: in the alias file. Still, the registrations keep coming.
- There was a new one I saw in the UUCP logs this morning.
-
- Please stop. If you have stile in your list of registered
- nodes, please dequeue it. If you don't, please don't try to register.
-
- Thanks,
- Mark
