  13.     Back when Matt first introduced BMS, and indicated that it
  14. would be needed to get UUCP sources in the future, I installed it and
  15. registered stile with overload.  I never announced that stile was
  16. running BMS, or that people should register.  Many people, seeing that
  17. stile was registered with overload, registered with stile.  This was
  18. pointless and mildly annoying.  Perhaps more than mildly.  I
  19. de∩nstalled BMS a couple of months ago, and mail to bms_in is directed
  20. to >null: in the alias file.  Still, the registrations keep coming.
  21. There was a new one I saw in the UUCP logs this morning.

  23.     Please stop.  If you have stile in your list of registered
  24. nodes, please dequeue it.  If you don't, please don't try to register.
