- Well, I'm still having some problems with arn features not working
- (even though listed in the online help). I think the online help screen is
- outdated and functions have changed, I will research this. In the
- meantime, might I suggest to Roland that the online help screens be
- checked? I specifically recall reading that article deletion has been
- removed, yet it is still listed in the online help. Personally, I would
- like to see article deletion still enabled. There are time when it is nice
- to delete articles from a newsreader. For instance, I archive
- alt.sys.amiga.uucp.patches, comp.sys.amiga.announce, and comp.sources.hp48
- to name a few. I leave most articles received in the newsgroup
- directories. When I see things like monthly postings on how to submit to
- c.s.a.announce, for example, I would like to delete them without having to
- take note of the article number and delete by hand. Same goes in .patches.
- When I do uudecode and store a program or when a version comes in
- superceding another version, I used to use Arn to delete the newsgroup
- copies. I miss this functionality. Just my opinion.
