  12. I have an idea for a ST:TNG story line involving a meeting with
  13. the aliens from the Aliens movies, and I was wanting some information
  14. that could be relevent to the story.  (Yes, this is a crossover)
  15.  
  16. First, some of my ideas of things that will occur in the story:
  17. 1) A Starfleet ship will be invaded by the Aliens, loosing all bar
  18.    one crewmember...
  19. 2) The Enterprise will discover a Borg ship that has been massacared
  20.    and is completely dead...
  21. 3) At least one major character has got to die.  I've already decided
  22.    but I'm not telling you who  :-)  (I bet Rez could guess, couldn't
  23.    you?  Don't do so out loud thought :-) )

  25. I'm tossing up two titles for the story, either "Uninvited Guests"
  26. or "Ko-by Oshi Maru" (sp?  Spelt if more or less phonetically here)

  28. Theres are few other details that I've thought of already which I wont
  29. post now, so as not to spoil the story too much if it ever gets written.

  31. I would like a bit of technical information about some things in the
  32. StarTrek and Aliens universe before I go on:
  33. 1) How exactly are you suspose to spell "Ko-by Oshi Maru"?
  34. 2) About the U.S.S. Enterprise:
  35.    a) What is the class of ship.
  36.    b) What is the number of the ship.
  37.    c) How many people are on the ship.
  38.    d) How many children are on the ship.
  39. 3) About the U.S.S. Hood:
  40.    a) Anything known or mentioned about this ship in the ST:TNG series?
  41.    b) The class of the ship.
  42.    c) The number of the ship.
  43.    d) How many people are on the ship.
  44.    e) Any biographical material about her crew that is available.
  45. 4) In StarTrek VI, the president of the United Federation of Planets was
  46.    an alien with all white hair and white or blue eyes (I can't remember)
  47.    I also remember seeing another of that race in StarTrek IV on one
  48.    of the ships disabled be the probe.
  49.    Any and all information available about that race would be helpful.
  50. 5) Any and all information about the Alien race could proove helpful.
  51.    i.e. Is there actually a name for the race?
  52.         A home planet?
  53.         How great is their intellegence?  Just above an animal cunning?
  54.           Or greater?

  58. I'm really just letting the ideas mull around in my head at the moment
  59. and am working on hammering out a complete story-line outline before
  60. a start writing.

  62. CREATIVE Crticism and plot ideas are welcome (as long as they're not
  63. copyright :-) ), I don't want this to be just a "Aliens infest ship
  64. and start killing everybody, and crew wonder how to get out of this
  65. fix" type story (although I guess with Aliens, that'll be a fair
  66. part of the story), I would like to have some sort of underlying
  67. intrigue to the thing, I'm not sure how or what yet.

  69. Comments such as, "Don't bother, I hate crossovers" or "I hate Aliens"
  70. will be used to fill up /dev/null.  If you don't like it, you don't have
  71. to read it, but there are many who do like crossovers and would like
  72. to read (I hope) this sort of material.  Tolerance and acceptance of
  73. anothers preferences is a virtue, any Trekkie should be able
  74. to tell you that :-)
