  20. I had considered this (primarily for my own evil science-fiction-writing 
  21. purposes), and it doesn't hold up.  While everyone may be happy with 
  22. interracial relationships (I am a member of one), it doesn't mean that 
  23. _everyone_ is.  Lots of people are not disgusted by the idea of an 
  24. interracial relationship, but would not be in one themselves; they prefer 
  25. members of their own race, whatever it may be.  It is a matter of a 
  26. personal preference and not prejudice necessarily.  Anyhow, there will 
  27. always be small pockets of fairly pure races.  Especially considering the 
  28. history of the human race, even general acceptance of interracial couples 
  29. may not be terribly soon-to-come . . .
