  10. I'm bothered by the serious tone that recent messages in this newsgroup
  11. have had.  People are calling each other immature, criticizing their
  12. ideas, and FLAMING THEIR SPELLING???  For heaven's sake, I thought
  13. alt.shenanigans was above that sort of thing.

  15. Yes, the recent "Net Shenanigan" thread was silly.  It probably shouldn't
  16. count as a real shenanigan...  But it does, if only because it has done
  17. exactly what it was proposed to do: take over an otherwise serious
  18. newsgroup with a ridiculous discussion.

  20. Unfortunately, the newsgroup in question was alt.shenanigans.

  22. Let's try to put this behind us, please.  There will always be pranks,
  23. cruel tricks, and obvious non-shenanigans posted here - but we need not
  24. devote the newsgroup to their discussion.  Replies such as "How fucking
  25. impressive" and "If you're such a genius, why can't you spell the word
  26. 'geese'" should probably be directed to e-mail...

  29. shenanigan" threads are getting tiresome...

  31. Let's have some real shenanigans.  By anyone's definition.  I realise that
  32. alot of the alt.shenanigans readers are probably on Christmas vacation
  33. (and probably stealing someone's lawn ornament right now), so hopefully
  34. the traffic will increase again soon...

  42. preach.  I will remedy this in the next day or two by posting some actual

  46. over the newsgroup either.  Please reply by e-mail if you reply.  I will
