  12. I leave out-of-season well-wishes on my answering machine. Right now, it
  13. greets callers with "Happy Easter". Of course, in the middle of the year,
  14. it'll say "Merry Christmas", and maybe sometime in March-April, I'll record
  15. "Happy Halloween" or something like that on it. I try to keep the greeting
  16. and the actual time of the year about six months apart, leaving people
  17. guessing as to whether I haven't changed my answering machine message for
  18. half a year, or whether I'm half a year early.
