- i used to work for domino's. while it was the _official_ policy, that
- means jack sh*t. i'd carry passengers anyway, so long as he paid
- well. it's not uncommon to take home or even pick up inside store
- personnel (which violates the 'on-time employee only' rule as well),
- and i've given my SO a lift while on the clock before as well.

- i *hate* this. it's a royal pain. please remember that drivers are
- generally responsible for their own gas. when you place a bogus order
- like this, not only does the store lose the value of the pizza made,
- but the driver also loses $1 or so in uncovered car expenses (drivers
- aren't paid for undeliverables).
-
- pizza delivery drivers don't make all that much money. a buck here, a
- buck there, it adds up. i *hate* bogus orders.
-
- of course, before long you know every address in town. it's hard to
- run an nonexistent address past me now, because odds are i'll
- recognize it. (i.e. if you told me to deliver to 311 w. wood, i'd
- know you were BSing because the entire odd side of the 300 block of
- wood street is a parking lot). you're better off giving a valid
- address that just happens not to be yours.
