  12. Once when one of our local knitting shops was going out of business,
  13. I bought a floss display cabinet---a nice wooden box with plastic drawers,
  14. each drawer about 2"x2"x6".  There must be about 16 drawers---great
  15. for sorting snaps, thread, needles, ribbons, etc.  Something different
  16. in each drawer.  Come to think of it, the same type of box in hardware
  17. stores would work.  They come in all sizes and shapes in the hardware
  18. store.

  20. I also use plastic zippered sweater bags to store knitting yarns.  These
  21. are great because I can see the yarn inside each bag without having
  22. to open it up.  They were hard to find---finally ordered them from the
  23. "Hold Everything" catalog.

  25. But the bolts of fabric just pile up in paper bags.  (Not bolts---yardages)
  26. I don't have a good system for them.
