- Once when one of our local knitting shops was going out of business,
- I bought a floss display cabinet---a nice wooden box with plastic drawers,
- each drawer about 2"x2"x6". There must be about 16 drawers---great
- for sorting snaps, thread, needles, ribbons, etc. Something different
- in each drawer. Come to think of it, the same type of box in hardware
- stores would work. They come in all sizes and shapes in the hardware
- store.
-
- I also use plastic zippered sweater bags to store knitting yarns. These
- are great because I can see the yarn inside each bag without having
- to open it up. They were hard to find---finally ordered them from the
- "Hold Everything" catalog.
-
- But the bolts of fabric just pile up in paper bags. (Not bolts---yardages)
- I don't have a good system for them.
