  13.     given a terminal name (e.g. /dev/ttyp3) will echo
  14.     the characters sent to said terminal, on my screen ?

  16.     Basically, what I'm after is some sort of real-time
  17.     monitoring program, and I'm too busy (lazy ? :-) to
  18.     write it myself...
