- "Way back when" I calibrated my hydophone at Black Mohican Cal Station
- in PA, I was happy to get it within 1 dB. The readings are usually done to 0.1
- dB, but the reliability and reapeatability of all setups and instruments is
- such that 1 dB is the pro forma standard. You can demand anything you want,
- but it will cost you $$$ and time. Usually, +- 1 dB will not start any
- arguments.
