  11. I got the Year and a Half video (part 1) for Christmas, and popped it
  12. in as soon as I got the chance.  I wish I had gotten part two instead.
  13. This video confirms to me that the day the music died was the day Bob
  14. Rock was hired to produce.  All thru this video, it is arguments
  15. between Rock and band members about how the songs should be recorded -
  16. Metallica wanted harder, more raw sounds, and Rock wanted to produce a
  17. radio album.  When the band members were interviewd one on one, they
  18. sounded like Bob Rock cronies, like he was feeding them the lines
  19. about accesibility and stuff.  I think this because in the
  20. non-interview parts, they were always defending the way they wanted to
  21. play - which was not quite radio material.  I think they did want to
  22. make a simlper album, but I think Rock just completely went overboard.

  24. Anyway, I do like the Black album more and more, but I certainly would
  25. rather listen to Master and Justice - and I do most of the time.  Hope
  26. this doesn't start a new sell out flame war, but I just wanted to give
  27. a little review of the tape.  It's better to borrow this one than to
  28. buy it, IMHO...--
