  21. A few years back Jaco Pastorious was widely held to be the best bassist going.
  22. I knew a guy in college who was very into him (he was even building a
  23. fretless bass), and was pretty unhappy when Jaco died.

  25. While he tended to play pseudo-jazz, he was quite good with his instrument.
