- but the "brutal bass." The bass on Justice for All is totally inaudible!
- The album's production is woefully uneven--the guitars sound great and the
- vocals are good, but the bass is way underpowered (so is the drumming, which
- is a real shame). Of course, the bass lines just double the rhythm guitar
- (by Newsted's own admission), so even if you really cranked them up it
- wouldn't sound that different. I *would* like to hear the drums turned up,
- though.
