- On the whole, crime is a pretty safe hobby or career in the U.S. *Real*
- crime, that is, crime where people are hurt or relieved of their
- property. Now, dropping a hit of LSD and becoming a peacful participant
- in a Gratefull Dead concert is real likely to get you a 50 year
- mandatory minimum sentence in a federal prison, during which time you
- will see *many* murderers and rapists come in, do their time, and
- get out. But real crime, well, like I said, it's pretty safe.
