  14. I am Jake, a SWM, 31, in the Bay area of California.
  15. I'm just starting my exploration of the SMBD arenas,
  16. having attended a few classes on the subject. 
  17. (Thank goodness I live here!)

  19. I know in my gut I'm a top, and I've been told
  20. by long-time players that the best way to get
  21. to the stop is to start at the bottom ;-).  So
  22. I'm looking for some training to learn
  23. the ropes (and paddles, whips, canes, and cuffs) 
  24. with the goal of of being a more compassionate
  25. and expert top.

  27. I need to go slowly and gradually, as I grew 
  28. up with parents who played some serious mind
  29. games about personal autonomy, and I don't 
  30. want to relive those experiences.
