  29. Well, people could just be applying these criteria in order to meet
  30. someone.... emphasis on MEET, I can't imagine anyone deciding to spend
  31. their life with someone based on their first post.

  33. People need time for relationships to develop. I see a.p.a as a way of
  34. *meeting* people.

  36. There are some things that might rule out a relationship.

  44. but I guess that is up to the individual.

  53. So I think the electronic forum is a way to meet a different 'sampling'
  54. of people, if you like. If you see somone that interests you, due to
  55. hobbies or religion or who-knows-what, you can converse and see how
  56. things go.

  58. I doubt I could make one post which would 'sum-up' all there was to
  59. me... isn't the discovery an ongoing thing? I know what you mean, a hint
  60. of what the person is really like would be nice, but I guess people just
  61. focus on other things initially.
