- No, the song "Daddy Sang Bass" is sung by Johnny Cash, written by C.
- Perkins (perhaps Carl). The song incorporates a "traditional" (i.e.,
- uncredited) song sometimes called "The Family Circle". The title of
- the song Johnny Cash sings is "Daddy Sang Bass", not "In them old,
- cotton fields back home". My source? "The Essential Johhny Cash".
